Material

The product is made from organic cotton that is has a Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) certification.

This standard defines requirements that guarantee the sustainable production of textiles, starting with the extraction of raw textile fibers through environmentally friendly and socially responsible production to the labeling of the end products and thereby offering product safety for the end consumer.

Made in India

This product is designed by a French fashion brand located in Paris and produced in India by Swami Sivananda Memorial Institute. This non-profit has the goal of improving the quality of life of underprivileged women in Delhi.

The NGO has several programs, one of which is located in the district of Punjabi Bagh, in the north-west of Delhi and involves women from disadvantaged neighbourhoods to produce textile accessories. Besides a salary, the NGO provides the woman with training and a place in school for their children.
